Intriguing Game-Week Four
Giants (1-2) at Bills (2-1)
Giants: They could easily be one of the remaining undefeated teams left if the defense could hold a lead in the fourth quarter in the first two games of the season. It was a mix of bad play-calling and the defense struggling to stop anyone. The one thing I’ve noticed about the Giants is that Odell isn’t ready to be that number one receiver because he can’t handle physicality like most receivers. Victor Cruz when healthy is the most important part to this offense and he can be used outside and in the slot and that’s when he’s at his best. They’ll be looking to win two in a row in upstate New York on Sunday afternoon against a revamped Buffalo Bills team.
Bills: After struggling against New England in week two, they bounced back strongly in Miami against the struggling Dolphins. The defense did its usual and the offense was balanced. Tyrod Taylor has no issues with spreading the football around to his receivers. LeSean McCoy could be out of this one on Sunday with a hamstring injury and Sammy Watkins is another one that could miss the game on Sunday as well with an injured calf. That means we will see a ton of Percy Harvin and rookie running back Karlos Williams. An instate rival comes to town on Sunday in yet another Super Bowl rematch.
Prediction: Reuben Randle has really stepped up and become a reliable target for Eli. The Giants need to incorporate Shane Vereen more into this offense especially when those receivers are locked up down the field. The Bills will bring the heat all game long on defense. I like the Giants in this one. Giants 28 Bills 17
