Football is back and it’s better than ever. Also with the game coming back also come injuries. Dez Bryant has become the engine to that Cowboys offense over the last few years. Amongst wide receivers, he’s scored 56 touchdowns over a five-year span. Sunday, he got hurt and will be out for the next four to six weeks with a broken foot that will require surgery.
I’ve never seen a guy so passionate about the game of football like Dez Bryant is. He plays with so much emotion and he’s a threat every time that he steps out on the field. He’s a field stretcher, a red zone threat and he and Romo have become one of the best quarterback/receiver tandems in the league today. This will hurt the Cowboys greatly because you need your best players on the field to win games and now without DeMarco Murray, you sit here and ask yourself what’s next for the Cowboys offense?
It’ll take a collective effort to replace a guy like Dez Bryant. The schedule isn’t necessarily easy for Dallas either. They’ll face the Eagles, Saints and Patriots while he’s gone
