Intriguing Game- Week 14
Seahawks (11-1) at 49ers (8-4)
Seahawks: Last week, they proved why they are the best team in football. To hold an offensive juggernaut to 7 points really says a lot and it’s looking like the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC will travel through Seattle and that’s a stadium I wouldn’t want to go to even in the regular season so it’ll only be a tougher task come January. Russell Wilson has played fantastic football all season long and has been bought up in the MVP conversation as of late. I could see this Seahawks team getting to East Rutherford and making a very strong run come playoff time. They will face a 49ers team who is itching to get back at them after what happened last time they met.
49ers: This is the healthiest that the 49ers have been all season long. Kap has Crabtree back in the line up and he makes things easier. Crabtree has been his go to guy and now you had him with Manningham, Anquan Boldin and Vernon Davis, that’s a nice trip of receivers to spread the ball around too. The 49ers are still a powerhouse in the NFC. They have a top five head coach and a defense that I think has improved immensely over the last year. The secondary has been much improved and having Aldon Smith back has made a big difference. They probably won’t win the division but they have a shot at their arch rivals and can snap their winning streak in the process.
Prediction: The last time we saw these two meet up, Seattle dominated all game long, especially on defense. They made Kapernick work for his and they kept him in the pocket. The 49ers are a much improved team since then. I like San Fran to get this victory. 49ers 23 Seahawks 17
