(12) UCLA at (3) Oregon
UCLA: In the PAC-12, all we discuss is Oregon and their prolific offense and Stanford and their physical style of defense. These UCLA Bruins have held their ground in this conference. I really like Brett Hundley as their quarterback. He’s a 6’3 guy who can move around with his feet and make plays with his arm as well. Many feel that he will be a good pro. He’s been a top five qb in the country and will only get better as the years go along. He’s a sophomore that can definitely improve. UCLA can also score as well. They’re averaging 39.8 points a game and they play good defense as they give up only 19 points a game. This will be a challenge for these Bruins on Saturday night in Eugene when they face these Ducks who can put points up every single time.
Oregon: This is by far the best offense in the country. Marcus Mariota is a top five quarterback in the country and a Heisman candidate and he can beat you in so many ways. He has 4.4 speed and he can throw from the pocket as well. Let’s look at the numbers this Ducks offense puts up. They average 57 points a game. Not even some NFL teams average that. One thing we don’t really discuss with Oregon is their defense. They allow 17 points a game which is very complimentary to their offense. This team can be National Title game bound if they continue to win their remaining games. This won’t be a cakewalk with UCLA coming to town.
Prediction: This maybe a closer game than many people expect it to be. I like Oregon to keep rolling. Oregon 48 UCLA 24
